re-opening of driving range - Carnfunnock park golf range & academy
Hi Colin, You may not remember but we spoke on the phone about 2 months ago about a project i am currently involved in. It involves the refurbishment and re-opening of a disused driving range here in N.Ireland. I am a PGA professional currently based at Ballyclare Golf Club and myself and a business partner have purchased the old range building and are planning to re-open in a few weeks time. I have been reading Golf Range news for several years ever since I was an assistant Professional at Galgorm Castle Golf club where we operated a driving range and golf course. I have found the magazine a great tool for both learning and keeping up to date with all aspects of the golf range business. Now that I have my own range facility I am very keen to join ogro and would be greatful if you could send me details about how to do so. I would also be keen to have a feature put into your magazine as I feel we would have plenty of scope to write about. I have taken many photos etc and have gathered i

OGRO Membership
Hi Colin- It was an excellent conference which proved informative if not only to reiterate that we are doing the right things at the moment. Would it be possible to send me an invoice for the OGRO membership as i need to claim the expenses as i paid the direct debit out of my personal bank account. I hope to see you next year. Research
Hi - this is a bit "off the wall " but .... I''m doing some business development for the owner of an innovative golf clothing fastening system for trousers (patent pending). We are planning to test the product at a small number of golf clubs / ranges in Chislehurst / Southampton areas. I''m look for a reliable source of information on numbers of golfing trousers sold annually, here and globally. I''m wondering who you would recommend I should talk to. We have a few prototypes and now need someone to manufacture a larger (20 - 200) quantity. Is there anyone you would recommend in these areas, please ? Many thanks - Carole (www.peach-stone.com)

Advice
Hello, I have a fellow Professional who wishes to buy a 3 gang Epic ball picker from me, he has asked me to contact you to see if you are able to give a guide as to the approximate value of this, obviously unseen, is there anyone who can ? I think I paid around £1200 for it new, I appreciate it''s not worth anything like that now. The machine has been little used & is in good condition, all of the discs are new. I appreciate any help you can provide or if you could point me in the right direction. Kind regards, Duncan McDowall.
